Xbox SoftMods: Xbox Emulators

I have went through all the known emulators for each of the systems, and found the number one choice overall. The following emulators are top notch, and so far have not been beaten in terms of performance.

While I will not provide direct links to any of the emulators, they should be easy to find using any known search engine such as google, or you could always make a quick stop by xbins on mirc.

Nes: Fce Ultra
Newest Version: Fceultra v16
Comments: Great nes emulator now with lightgun support. Plays all games flawlessly.

Snes: xSnes9x
Newest Version: xSnes9x_V1.42
Comments: Near perfect emulator for the snes. It supports lightgun games, and most all games run perfect.

N64: Surreal64
Newest Version: Surreal64xxx_beta4.95
Comments: A combination of three different emulators for the n64. This gives the emulator a broad range of functionality over its competitors. Hands down the best n64 emulator for the xbox.

Playstation: Pcs Xbox
Newest Version: Pcsxbox_v13
Comments: Great playstation emulator for the xbox. This emulator is capable of playing games directly from a disk.

Sega Genesis: Xenesis

Comments: Powerful yet easy to use xbox emulator for the sega genesis. Very easy to navigate.

Mame: MameoX
Newest Version: MAMEoX_v0.84.b3
Comments: This is the best mame emulator for the xbox. Best of all, it has lightgun support which means you can blast zombies away in house of the dead, and kill robots in terminator III.

A modded xbox would be nothing without great emulators for the xbox.

For those of you new to emulation, an emulator is software that runs on one type of hardware, in such a way to emulate the hardware of a different machine. For instance, these emulators will run on one peice of hardware, your xbox, and emulate the hardware of the original game console. This will allow you to play your old classic games all on your xbox. :)
