PLANTS FOR MEMBERS

This year we are in for a real treat. The committee has chosen to purchase plants from Curt Hanson and Melanie Mason. Both of these great hybridizers have agreed to visit our club to discuss their plants.

Curt was one of the first hybridizers from whom we purchased plants through the PFM program when it was started. He has graciously agreed to attend our March meeting this year. He will be discussing his plants, garden and hybridizing program.

Ms. Mason hails from upstate New York but has ties to the Tidewater area where her and her husband attended college. She will be a guest speaker at our annual Brunch in November.

The purchased plants will be distributed at the June picnic to be held in Brigitta McConnon's garden. See the Events page for details. Eligible members will be able to receive a plant. Eligibility requirements can be found in the Membership Handbook.
