About

CAAS is a research project that intends to analyse images that occur in ancient societies, and determines if those images are of extra-terrestrial origin. Images could be anything from achitectural layouts to religious icons. The images are compared to the constellations, as they appear from OTHER star systems. The idea is that even advanced civilizations will continue to use thier constellations as a way to catagorize the sky, in the same manner we use our own. Ancient visitors would then present this extrinsic images to early cultures as important, and they would take on a significance the way our own constellations have been significant. Any evidence of these starpatterns, in any ancient image, would thus be considered as important evidence.

The idea for the project arose in the summer of 2001, and software development continued until late 2003. Currently, the project is in the stage of distribution of the software and in collection of ancient site data.
