"I was so happy when I found Therapics to use instead of traditional wood toothpicks & dental floss. Therapic not only gets the hard to floss areas, it also gives you a fresher feeling in your mouth. Thank you for this product, as it is one I will use for a very long time."

And don't forget to Therapic...When you can't brush or floss.
Therapic quality plastic toothpicks initiated manufacturing in the early 1980's. Since then, Therapic rolled plastic dental picks have provided a simple and very effective way to maintain healthy gums, especially in circumstances when brushing or flossing is not convenient or available. Most of the dental product marketing has been geared toward the dental industry, but in recent years has made its way into restaurants, theatres, drug stores, healthfood stores and more. Therapic is still a family owned business, and dedicates a great deal of attention in quality control. By purchasing this unique addition to the family of dental hygiene products, you increase your resources for personal hygiene products to include one of todays simplest, and yet, most effective products to maintain teeth and gums.

Oral Hygiene Tips
The following tips are suggestions to keep your teeth clean, and stimulate gums to prevent the build up of plaque, periodontal disease, gingivitis, and halitosis (bad breath). Each patient should have regular thorough cleanings and examinations by their dentist and hygienist for accurate individual hygiene recommendations.

1. Consume healthy foods, and reduce intake of foods with high amounts of sugars.

2. Make sure your diet includes recommended amounts of vitamin C and calcium.

3. Drink daily recommended amounts of water, preferrably containing flouride.

4. Do not smoke.

5. Brush after every meal and floss at least once a day.

6. Rinse mouth thoroughly with mouthwash daily.

7. Visit the dentist for your regular cleaning every six months.

8. When brushing or flossing are not possible, safe, or convenient, use plaque removers, interdental cleaners, or dental picks, such as: Therapic plastic interdental picks to keep out food particles, reduce plaque, clean each tooth and stimulate gums. Interdental gum stimulators should be gentle on the gums and maintain a flexible tip.

9. Have each cavity removed promptly upon diagnosis.

10. Report any sensitivity, pain, or concerns to your dentist or hygienist as they present themselves.

11. With braces, use interdental cleaners, or dental picks to replace difficult to use floss.
