About LIVESTRONG
The Lance Armstrong Foundation encourages people to Livestrong. This campaign is for cancer research, and has helped so many people. You have probably seen people wearing the yellow wristbands a while back but unfortunately people have stopped wearing them. Each and every band is only $1 and that goes toward the foundation. The founder is of course Lance Armstrong (winner of the Tour de France for a record 7 times in a row). I know that this website is for my photography but I really would like people to check out this site and read some of the stories on there and think about what just a few dollars means to people. All profits go toward the foundation and nothing else. Everyone that works there is a volunteer and is there on his/her own time. People who have known me for a while and are close to me know that I have lost both of my grandfathers to cancer, one from brain cancer and one from Leukemia. Also currently my cousin Jeremy is dealing with Leukemia and has a livestrong band. I am very motivated to raise cancer awareness and because I (just like many of you reading this) know how it feels to lose someone close to a disease that right now doesn't have a cure. Every dollar counts to people like Jeremy and the people you may know who are suffering with cancer. That is why every CD that I sell $1 of that will go to the LAF (Lance Armstrong foundtation) and help contain and fix this growing pandemic.
