        • Christmas Tree Sales
          • Where: Walmart North SuperCenter Parking Lot
          • When: Starts the Friday after Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve
          • Description: The annual Christmas Tree Sales is our biggest fund raiser. The event has been extremely successful. The project started over 10 years ago when we purchased 150 trees, sold 100 trees, and disposed of 50 trees. During the 2008Christmas season, we sold over 1200 trees. The dedication of our members has made this a very successful and FUN project.


 
 

        • Rochester Morning Pride Lions Charity Golf Classic
          • Where: Riverview Greens, Stewartville, MN
          • When: Wednesday, July 14, 2010
          • Description: The Rochester Morning Pride Lions club partners with the Rochester Senior Center to hold a charity golf tournament. The charity classic has been held for 6 years and has proven an extremely successful event with 20 teams of golfers and 18 sponsors participating in 2009 and raising $7000. The dedication of our members has made this a very successful and FUN project.         • Running Start
          • Where: Walmart North SuperCenter
          • When: August each summer  
          • Description: The Rochester Morning Pride Lions club partners with the Running Start program to collect and distribute school supplies for needy children in Rochester. The efforts of this program helps to insure children start the school year on the right foot.


 
 

        • Eye Glasses for Children and Young Adults
          • When: Throughout the year  
          • Description: The Rochester Morning Pride Lions club partners with the various local organizations such as the Rochester School District and JSVP to identify children and young adults who are in need of eye glasses and whose families cannot afford to purchase them.
