    This Spring, Hollis Cal Ripken will adopt 70' basepaths for all Majors games. Minors will continue to use 60' basepaths. These changes will bring about some exciting new changes for the players:

           - 50' pitching distance (4' farther)
           - 70' basepaths (10' longer)
           - Dropped 3rd Strike

(Note: These rules may be modified as we progress)

 

Welcome to Hollis Cal Ripken Baseball!  The Executive Committee and the coaches are looking forward to a great 2007 season.  Our league is dedicated to teaching baseball skills while our children enjoy playing the game with their friends.  The mission statement, which Cal Ripken Baseball has adopted, is the following:

Develop a strong, clean, healthy body, mind and soul.  
Develop a strong urge for sportsman-like conduct.  
Develop understanding of and respect for the RULES.  
Develop courage in defeat, tolerance and modesty in victory.  
Develop control over emotions and speech.  
Develop spirit of cooperation and team play.  
Develop into real, true CITIZENS.

The Hollis Cal Ripken League Officers would like to welcome players from ages 8 up to age 12 to the Hollis Cal Ripken Baseball League. Our goal is to provide a fun and exciting baseball experience for each player while teaching them the fundamentals of the game.
