Birthday, July 26, 2005. Acquired August 7, 2005 at two weeks. I had to do bottle feeding, which I just loved, and I learned that if pigs like their food they will eat until they explode. This resulted in Epiphesitis, bones that grew too fast to support surrounding tissue, which was very painful and scary, but was easily and correctly corrected. Rosy will be on a diet for the rest of her life, and she loves her food!

Rosie spends hours working on her bed. She likes variety. Sometimes totally covered up, sometimes her head or nose, sometimes just her eyes. I believe she has read that you cover your eyes when you sleep if you are a famous queen or actress.
Notice her kissy kissy, below right. She can be fully lovable, funny, grumpy, and even downright miserable if she figures she should be getting something to eat, or some attention. During adolescence she did not want to give up owning the house and me. It took a pretty strong hand to dethrone her from being the "Queen Mum".

Now she is full grown. I keep hearing how big she is, but she really is quite small. Because she is as solid as a brick yard house, she might be over a hundred pounds, but she seems smaller to Driegon to me. She is a lovely companion when she isn't acting like the queen mum. Then, just like an omelet, she gets a good beating. OK, maybe not! It's an open end as to who is the queen mum these days. Rosie or Me?

2007, after a winter of fattening up. Sister Faye is appearing as either little red riding hood, or the queen mum. I forget which. Rosie has had a great winter, but we sure are looking forward to summer
