| I Dare You
It's mid May and if not for the sad fact that I can't bring myself to leave this warm chair, I would shut my window. It's cold in here and yes I'm wearing long sleeves. With a t-shirt to boot. Need I mention last month? As a favor to my library fraternity, I have drafted this bibliography of books that dare to offer a dissenting opinion about "global warming" otherwise described as "climate change" during winter months and cold snaps. Why? Well, poking around WorldCat as I have been known to do, it seems that either 1) many of you lack the skills to find books for purchase that appear in publications other than Library Journal, or 2) many of you have made an arbitrary decision that dissention about global warming deserves no home on your shelves. Shame on the latter. For any caring to offer the "pseudoscience" argument for collection censorship (as applied to intelligent design for example), feel free to share you correspondence with Dr. Lindzen, or any other scientist not swigging Mr. Gore's Kool-...eh...Warm-Aid. I will gladly attach it here. As for the following books, this radical librarian dares you to buy one. (It's obvious that many of you have not.)
