'Left' Out - Liberal Censors You Never Hear About

Many within the library community find it politically expedient to hang the "censorship" tag on the religious right, paranoid parents, or control-freak conservatives. The reality is many liberals, academicians, feminists and yes, librarians are just as culpable. Of course these folks cleverly couch their motives as palatable, politically correct crusades against "hate speech", "misogyny" and "cultural insensitivity" just to name a few.

Does anyone recall John Berry admonishing campus speech codes when fingerpointing upon his eco-friendly First Amendment soapbox? How about the outrage over liberal darling Patricia Schroeder's efforts to censor or just perhaps fleece libraries? In fact, you should consider the silence given by the ALA crowd on the examples cited in this bibliography as proof of "censorship" of their own censorship.
