A word of thanks for all those who have taken the time to drop a line over the past few days. Your thoughts are much appreciated.

I would like to share one email in particular that I have received from a "true" progressive. exlibris_pdx (yes he's anonymous) and I have butted heads on previous occasions, but both share a genuine belief in open dialogue.

I've got to say that we have disagreed about many things in the past. Always civilly, I might add. For once I get to actually agree with you 100%. I don't know what the hell has gotten into them. If they were younger, they'd probably be TPing your house. You are absolutely right, if they don't like what you say, they can respond with their own critiques, blogs, or what have you. You know what makes me the angriest? They make Progressives like myself look bad. Now I have to take time to explain that not ALL Progressives are a bunch of thin-skinned self-indulgent cry babies. LOLOL.. it just reminds me why I can't join groups like that.
