Any live bait would be extra although will not be necessary most days.
We will be fishing out of the same boat I fish all my tournaments in which is the absolute best you can fish in. It is a 2009 Z520 Ranger with a 250 HP Evinrude E-tec and the electronics provided by Raymarine. The equipment will all be top of the line rods and reels from Pflueger and All-Star Rods that I use in tournaments.
I will furnish everything you will need as far as equipment and tackle. You will need to bring rain gear if needed and a coat or jacket for those cold starts. I will furnish ice and cooler; you will need to bring your drinks and food if desired.
On full day trips there are several great restaurants on the lake where we can stop and eat a great lunch which breaks up the day. Of course this would be completely up to you.
Some other things you may want to consider bringing are sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, and a camera.
Remember, you are not booking a trip with just any guide; you will be on the water with one of this country’s top professional fishermen with over 20 years on the tournament trail and also over 30 years of fishing on Lake Lanier. I am a professional in every way so you don’t have to worry about putting your best customer, child, father or best friend in my boat for a fantastic day of fishing.
