This is Human AU. That means that there are no such things as vampires, witches, slayers, demons, or anything else magical. All the characters in this story are regular human beings.
Subspace (generally speaking, I'll get into specifics later in the story) is a BDSM term used to describe a heightened state of pleasure that most believe is caused by a rush of endorphins produced during a scene.
