Tom's initial efforts at making
money after the F & G breakup,
going to various busy intersections in the
Huntsville area and holding up a
cardboard sign stating "I will announce for
food", garnered him enough income
to invest in the marshmallow figurine business.
Popular around Easter and
Christmas, Tom remolded the "peeps" into the
more interesting shapes of
Vegas Showgirls that would be a novelty selling
item year round.
Now wildly popular on the west coast, Tom sells
his
marshmallow "showgirls" creations in a ten
pack set
known as "Tom's Peep Show".
The Dull, REAL Story:
Tom sold advertising at the local Fox affiliate for seven years, then became the Advertising Director of a local cellular phone company for three years then had a nine month stint at an advertising agency...that required medication and hospitalization. He how lives in Birmingham in his childhood home and does voice-overs on the side. He met his true love Pamela in '04 and they look forward to making a wonderful life together.
His two kids Tommy and Jennifer are doing well, with Jen graduating from Bob Jones High School this year with top honors.
