Itinerary for 2007:
Friday
Meet &
Greet aboard the Cruisin’ Turtle.

Sub
Sandwiches, Chips, Soda, Beer & Wine will be provided
If you
wish to have something else to drink, please bring your own.
Collect registration packets and rally items.
Due to
large numbers, it will be necessary to split the cruise into two groups again
like we did last year. Those with
children will be given first priority on the 7:00 cruise. At 8:00 the boat will return and drop-off
those wishing to end their cruise and pick-up the remaining people who were not
able to get on the 7:00 cruise. Don’t
worry, if you can’t make the 7:00, the Dirty Turtle will keep you entertained!! Doing it this way worked out very well last
year. The second cruise will probably
run over an hour so please plan accordingly.
9:00pm - ?? After
Cruise options: Hang out at the Turtle,
Traveler’s Inn will have their bar open or hit the sack and rest up for
tomorrow!
Saturday
and launch boats at The Dirty Turtle!

Guard Inspections
11:00am-6:00pm Poker Run & Raft-ups:
Poker Run Stops:
(in no particular order)
Pine Cove
Shipwreck Bay
Splash Waterfront Bar & Grill
Tie-up location (3PM and after)
Have lunch on the boat or at whatever Poker Run stop you
like. The tie-up will take place on the
west side of the lake down near the damn.
Do the Poker Run at your leisure and plan to be at the tie-up between 3
and 4PM.
Tie-up etiquette:
For photo purposes and socializing, it works best if all
boats are tied up in one or two lines (if needed) and not randomly
anchored. Please have sufficient
fenders out to protect your boat on both sides and lines ready when approaching
the tie-up. Approach the line from the
rear very slowly. Have someone ready to throw your transom line to the party
next to you. Secure the back of the
boats first before attempting to secure the bows. Once secured, the next boat approaching will throw lines to you.
We would like to do a group photo of everyone at the
raft-up at 4PM so please plan to be there at that time.
8:30PM - ?? The
Band “Bunkhouse” will perform. Glenn
from Castle Rock Marine is in the band!
