I Received your letter to day this is Sunday and a very plesant and lovely day the flowers bloom and the air is mild and pretty birds are singing with joy and I long to see your letter that I got today at S Oclock and was pleased to bear from you we are still hear and it will take untill the 1 of May till we git away it takes so long as our boiler is not hear yet and we look for it Every day and a little (trouble?) with the builder of the boat and it take so much fixing to get redy but it is a lovely skooner thir is 3 or 4 skooner going in the same place wher we are going and is the cawled the Kotzebue Sound that is about 4 or 5 Hundred miles from St.
p.2 Hikles we will go direct to Duch Harbor then to St Mik and then North it will be about 3000 miles and will take 20 or 25 days of we have good luck we may git thir sooner you may adress your letter to Duch Harber or St mikles for we will stop thir we will not start before may the 1 or a few days latter so you can write one to Duch harbor and 1 to Saint Mikles but and write them as soon as you git this letter and adress them if not cawled for in 10 days to return to you I will write you a letter from Duch Harbor and I will write when we git to St Nikels so you will know whire we are I expect annother letter from you before we leave for I told for I wrote you last Sunday also one letter on monday the 19 with that

p.4 thot you was going to send a letter Henry letter but I have not seen it yet but I am glad to hear that he likes it I send you 2 pictures last Sunday I supose you got them by this time in regard of riting I was talking with the boys for thir was 3 of us writing the same time they say they do not no how to rite to let them know about adressing to us for we do not know what to tell you where we will be and how long it will be but we will write when we get chance I will write you the day we leve I have nothing more to write
