Seattle May the 12 1898?
Dear Rosy
I will Drop you a few lines how are you getting along
have you got a Situation yet or have you drop it
I am sory that I am not hear from you enny more and I do not know when it will be but I though that I would write a few lines
we left Port Townsend last Saterday and we are still hear and the time flys by and hard to tell when we &an give it up
I wish you was hear for a day or too I would give you a boat ride on the waves
we are ankered about 20 rods from the dock and we use our small boats to go shore for we have to get watter
to drink and cook and up town so some one has to roe the small boat to the dock.
and the tide go up and Down Every 6 hours about 15 feet high and Every half hour big vesels come in
and rolls the watter so it makes the waives go like blasys and our boat rocks us to sleep well rose how are you giting along can you sing yet
we may leve by Sunday to Port Townsend and load up on frait and then start thirs is about 200 vesels on thc sound
I will close and farwell to you with my best love
