George Reinhardt was born about 1813, according to his age on various census records. He lists Bavaria as his place of birth

Elizabeth Schussler was born in 1818 in Bavaria.  Her family emigrated in 1846, but she did not accompany them. 

At some point George and Elizabeth married, but it is not known if this occurred before or after they arrived in America.

George and Elizabeth's sons all were born somewhere in New York, between 1848 and 1854.  I have looked in the census records for every single George Reinhardt in NY in 1850, and find no trace of him, which makes me think that he might have been listed under a middle name.

George and Elizabeth settled in Fond du Lac County, WI about 1855, where they remained.
