Romens Family History

"1999 Family Reunion": 

Hendryk Romens (1744-1820), the
first Romens to spell his name that way, had three sons:
Jean-Henri, 
Francois-Joseph
and Antoine. 
Antoine immigrated to the United States in 1830.  Pictured here at a Farm/Inn in the southern Alsace are
descendants of the three sons, the first family reunion of the three branches in 169 years.  From left to right: 
Moira Keane (wife of Tom Romens), Colette Egremy, nee Romens (Jean-Henri Descendant),
Andre Egremy,
Marie Romens, 
Roger Romens (Francois-Joseph
descendant), and 
Tom Romens (Antoine Romens
descendant).
