Description
Radar allowed mankind to determine the position of objects from a limited distance. Sensors are the newest refinement on this old concept. One could argue that radar was really when mankind invented sensors since these new advanced systems capable of detecting any sized object from extreme distances are merely the evolution from the primitive radar of old. However, this new breakthrough is such a leap over the existing electromagnetic technologies that they have been placed in a new class - Sensors.
