Description
Copying a living organism is called Cloning. The duplication of a non-living object is called Replication. With Replication, many different types of materials can be produced from other, more basic, components. For example, a ship can be loaded with blocks of a simple type of matter (like rocks), and with a replicator, can change that matter into whatever form is desired (such as food).
While only capable of replicating objects of lesser densities, replication will help feed millions throughout the galaxy.
