Expert Leighton Sissom’s reconstruction (Cookeville, TN) of how a vehicle’s
accident spin slammed a child’s head into the seat’s corner, where a recessed
screw with washer fractured her skull, causing permanent injury and handicaps.
LIFT KIT ROLLOVER FORCES- The truck on the left (shown in wire frame outline) had initially swerved left to avoid hitting the car on the right and then quickly cut the front wheels to the right, precipitating a rollover to the left and into the oncoming vehicle, causing severe injuries. Expert Douglas Bradbury (Clemson, SC) concluded that the retrofit of a lift kit and large tires cause instability in fast turns due to a combination of high center of gravity and front tire’s gyroscopic precessional force. |
