this installation represents a collaboration between dean burton and tamara scronce
where individually developed ideas meet and become intertwined. objects become images,
and images become objects.
central to the work are ideas of nature opposed to manmade; a search for harmony between
the two produces strange by-products. contradictions are the rule - not the exception:
machined/manmade, masculine/feminine, binary/analog, artifice/authenticity, order/chance,
mundane/unique… |
