Kool April Nites 2005
The Nova was named an award winner at the
16th annual Kool April Nites Car Show!
It has received the
prestigious title of "Sheriff's Choice".
It is for the car chosen by the Shasta County Sheriff.

Only one car receives this award in the whole show
(which had over 2,000 participants)!
We feel very honored to have this award bestowed upon us.
Thanks very much to the Sheriff's Department.

Give a little love     More TLC
Here is a couple of pictures to prove that I really do give my car a lot of TLC.
This is as close as I'll ever get to truly hugging it.

Certificate

Here is the certificate that is placed in your windshield on Saturday April 9th, to let you (and everyone else) know you are an award winner.

Papparazzi

This is the "staged" photo being taken of the Sheriff (Jim Pope) presenting me with the award!
To see what the actual photo looks like just move your mouse over the photo above.
Also, click on the photo to see bigger "unsquished" version of the car picture.

This is him talking to me about the award.

Above is the Jim Pope trading card, right below that is video of him presenting me with the award.
YOU GET TO HEAR MY MOTOR... recorded over a teeny-tiny microphone.
You can click the trading card to open your Windows Media Player.
It works best in Internet Explorer, but other browsers may not be able to play file.
Best viewed over a 256kps broadband connection.

Award 2005

This beautiful plaque is much larger in person. It is about 13 inches tall!
I really like that this award features the new Sundial Bridge.

Head on back HOME.
You'll be able to check out previous years from that page.
If you do, you won't be sorry.
