Here are some of the products and services supplied by Bee's Best. All of these products of the bees come from my own bees, and everything is produced by the bees working in San Luis Obispo County, California.We sell natural, uncooked honey in a variety of containers, ranging from small 8oz bottles to 60 pound buckets. We put small plastic boxes with the shape of a honeycomb stamped on the bottom. The bees then fill up the boxes by building bee's wax cells on the plastic template, then filling them up with honey. We then take the boxes out of the hive and put lids on them. This way you get pure honeycomb that has never been touched by human hands. Creamed honey Natural honey eventually crystalizes, making it difficult to use. If you force the honey to crystalise using small crystals rather than large, you get a product that you can spread like butter. It has the taste and consistancy of a high quality candy filler. I make several batches up every year, and they are popular sellers. We harvest pollen every week or so from a few hives located in Arroyo Grande. We do not treat our pollen so it must remain frozen. This product which the bees make from a mixture of tree sap, wax, honey and pollen is one of the most sterile substances in nature. It is used as medicinally both in traditional and modern medicine. There are thousands of applications of Bee's wax. We make pure bee's wax candles, and can supply limited amounts for use in other projects.
