Comb Honey

This section of Honey Comb was produced in my backyard in Oceano. These cassets are simply put into the bee hives, and the bees draw out the comb. Afterwards, we just gently shake the bees off, then put them in the freezer for a day. After that, they are ready to sell. They are about the purest honeycomb on the market. No cutting, no human touching. Something that the bees have a little extra of, and they are glad to share it with us in return for keeping ants and other natural enemies away from them. The bees are free to come and go as they please, but they prefer to stay with us, just like our cats. It is one of the great symbiotic relationships we humans share with so many other plants and animals.
