The idea of organizing an athletic hall of fame for Uxbridge High School took root during the planning for the celebration of the 100th year of Uxbridge High football in 1996. Discussion with athletic Director, Mark Donahue and the former Uxbridge High School athletes suggested that there was interest in pursuing this idea in the near future. Contacts were made with people that were thought to be interested in helping with this project and the first organizational meeting was scheduled at 7:00 PM on Monday May 3, 1999 in the Daniel Whitehouse Uxbridge High School library.
