 | | Maya on Easter 1998 |

For three and a half years we searched for a child to adopt. We thought it was going to be an independent adoption because we were unable to find an agency with whom we felt comfortable.
Then we found Abrazo Adoption Associates. We went to San Antonio for an orientation weekend in April and we adopted Maya Theresa four months later on August 22, 1996. She is a beautiful, healthy, happy little girl. She weighed 8.5 lbs. and was 20 inches long at birth. Now, at 25 months, she is just shy of a meter tall and tips the scales at 35 lbs. We are convinced that she will be the first woman president to hit 75 home runs in a single season, find a cure for cancer
and trisect an angle. |
