The Mixtec culture was centered in what is now the state of Oaxaca. The best known city was Monte Alban just outside the city of Oaxaca. Many people call this a Zapotec site, but it is actually Mixtec. Until I locate the 'lost slides of Oaxaca', the links below will have to suffice.
