Westerners have given inappropriate names to many buildings. One is called the Observatory though it is doubtful that observations were made from there. Another is called the Nunnery, but I saw no sign of nuns. I always thought of this fellow as the Sentinel. From his high perch above a stylized rattlesnake head he can see a good long ways.
