Welcome to Lost Worlds For Students: My intent for this website is to provide students the web-based tools necessary to supplement their learning experience. Students should use this site for beginning their research rather than just going to a Google-search. Additional resources for students include:
For Parents: Dear Parents, As stated in the course syllabus (see link from main page), this course is a study of antiquity. Although students may have had elements of this course in World History 10, this course is an in-depth study of 6000BC through 6th Century AD. That stated, students can expect to do a significant amount of reading and research throughout this course. Additionally, there will be a lecture to supplement the AV, web-based, and other learning tools almost every class period. Emphasis will be given to answering a central question for each unit and should focus student learning. The purpose of this website is not only to serve as a resource for students, but to provide you information to give you a sense of what your son/daughter is learning in Lost Worlds. You will be able to access their grades, see missed/late assignments, homework schedules, reading assignments, and et cetera. Please feel free to contact me regarding any special needs your son/daughter may have. I am looking forward to serving your son/daughter! Eric V.
