Extra Credit Assignments
Option 1 – Chapter Review
Complete the ENTIRE chapter review for each current
chapter. All written responses are expected to be composed with complete
sentences; minimalist effort will receive NO CREDIT. All chapter review
extra credit MUST be turned in prior to the end of the unit. See me for
details.
Option 2 – Biography / Reflection
Research an individual of American History that you find
interesting and inspiring. Write one page that provides a brief
biographical sketch, and then write a second page describing how you relate
to that individual.
Option 3 – ABC-CLIO Website Activities
Go to the ABC-CLIO website (http://www.americanhistory.abc-clio.com/)
and complete any of the web-based activities current to the chapter we are
studying in class.
Option 4 – National Archives Web Experience
Go to the United States
National Archives website (http://www.archives.gov/national_archives_experience/index.html)
and take a virtual tour of the facility and its resources. After
you have THOUROUGHLY examined the site, write a two-page report
informing me of what you saw, and how the National Archives
can be helpful for high school students of history.

Map
any or all sections of the current textbook chapter using the
software application, Inspirations.
