Variety is What It's All About!

Here are some pictures of some of our Ball python breeding stock, past, present, and future. We take great care in determining which animals will be held back for breeding as well as which animals we purchase in order to diversify our genetics. As animal care takes up the majority of our time we may have acquired new stock that is not pictured here. If there is any project you are interested in but don't see here, just ask us.

Pinstripes
Pinstripe
This is a codominant morph characterized by a general reduction in pattern and thin striping, hence the name.

Mojaves
Mojave
Mojaves have a lightened color scheme and clear belly. They are the visible heterozygous form of a blue eyed white snake (leucistic).

Pieds or Piebald
Piebald
The same recessive genetic 'fault' that produces the unique color blocking in Jack Russell terriers and paint horses causes a similar trait in Ball pythons. Pieds may have varying amounts of white but the head always retains a pattern.

Butterscotch Ghosts (Hypo)
Butterscotch Ghost
Ghosts appear to have a generally washed out appearance. There are various strains having slightly different looks. These happen to be our favorite strain.

Spiders
Spider Ball
Much can be said for the spiders and their combos. Their reduced pattern and strong feeding response combined with the wide number of multiple morphs combinations make the spider a 'must have'.

Clowns
Not REALLY a Clown
The clown trait is characterized by a drastically reduced dorsal pattern and unique head patterns. Very striking looking animals. We are currently working with normal appearing animals that are het for this trait

Albinos
Albino
One of the earlier morphs bred in captivity, albinos have a yellow pattern on a field of white. The shade of yellow can vary widely. Albinos are a great base morph for many combos.

Pastels
Pastel
Pastels have a reduction of black pigment and generally posess a bright yellow coloration and a belly free of pattern. Pastels can brighten up any morph and are fantastic by themselves.

Yellow Belly
Yellow Belly
Yellow bellies have yet to be fully understood genetically and they are not always easy to pick out. In the best examples there is little question, as evidenced by our stock. Breeding this morph with others can yield odd visual mutations. Breeding them together can result in an ivory, or a snake with virtually no pattern save faint yellow dorsal markings.

Cinnamon
Cinnamon Pastel
Cinnamons or cinnamon pastels have a chocolatey coloration with intense blushing. The super cinnamon is a very dark patterned snake.
