Welcome to the Beetle page. In 2000 after a search we found a 1970 VW Beetle in excellent condition. It even has the automatic stick shift that I desired. This car has never been restored and is totally original, even the paint.
A little history of my
Buggy It was orginally purchased in February
1970 at the VW dealer in Rutland Vermont. It has, up till
the year 2000 spent its entire life of 52000 miles and 30
years in Vermont. Buggy now happily resides here with us on
Point-Au-Roche N.Y. We call it our ice cream car. Thats due
to, it being the car that we take on hot summer evenings to
get our fix of ice cream at one of the local ice cream
shops. We also occasionally take it out for a nice drive in
the fall and sometimes in the spring. Bob and I belong to the
Adirondack
Corvette Club and the
Champlain
Valley Classic Cruisers.
