Gardening Heels
Stretched myself and bent myself right down to the floor
Got myself prepared a thousand times before
Bet myself one hundred could afford no more
What if I could
What if I could
And when the weight of the world has you worn down
Can't do much better than just killing time
Saunter around in your gardening heels
Click them together as a wink to the skies
Now tragic faces are the stars of the shows
mind clogs get thicker and brain flow all slows
when it rains it still pours when it's hot it just snows
a crying shame
the crying game
In times of need people still can be friendly
Vestiges of the way things should be
Crawl around wearing gardening heels
The view from prone will set your sight free
There's nothing new here it's all trued and tried
Harsh sights and sounds leave me fit to be tied
Wished upon others harm not hair nor their hide
Can't go around
And can't get down
Unto this earth we are thrown without knowledge
Of things beyond the more or less fit survive
Why spend your life praying on gardening heels
It's for our nature not a god to decide
