Illegal, Tender
Call off the dogs they've had enough
You're crying wolf so calling out your bluff
That alibi just won't fly
So save your best tears to feed our worst fears now
Never pondered not for a moment
What would happen on this fateful day
Maybe remorseful, certainly regretful
And she knew full well what the jury would say
And so she stepped up and cried her eyes out
The blurry form of the world melts away
It didn't cross her mind to ask for
Mercy, she knew there was none to give
So she trudged on, or rather shuffled slowly
Showing she had no more will to live
Plead as you please it won't matter much
Justice is blind, lame, deaf and dumb
The hanging judge just won't budge
Life you can try for, but death you will die for here
Sentence handed down, was a little odd
Capitalized with a period
T.V. showed all there was to see
Execs like injections but Texans love electricity
