Tearjerker
Your underworld left me underwhelmed
Unimpressed and quite bored
Overreactions and your knack for bad acting
Left me far from floored
Now you got your arms held high to hold your head
Your sickly sycophantic neck can't lift it off the bed
You can't interlock your fingers anymore
From all the dragging of your knuckles on the floor
Live your life as ones want to do
And keep your past behind your back
But there's always catching up to do
And hopeful futures rarely last
Now nothing is as was or was meant to be
Every nuisance is a union of that irritant and bother
At the risk of sounding forward I'd say that fits you to a "T"
And I'll bet you bottom dollar I can make you scream and holler
I'm the best there is around I'll talk you down
Privileges under suspension
Basic rights forbade
But not for lack of suspicion
I've got that in spades
Something someone did once just pushed me right off the edge
And in all those catatonic years never dreamed there'd be revenge
But vengeful gods prevail when there are causes to be won
Table dances for the masses, marching songs to be sung
You bring a burden that no beast should be saddled with
And the saddest thing I'd ever seen caused me my addled wits
Blood-eagled punished by a karmic berserker
Caught red-handed in another tearjerker
