The good people of Tech Sideline have put together a year end review looking at how the school performed as a whole in its first year in the ACC. Personally, I'm very pleased by how our first year turned out. Sure, across all sports we had a losing record, but it's not bad. Plus, there are some serious highlights, like winning the conference in football. I see a lot of potential and opportunity for all the VT teams, and I'm looking forward to the start of the new academic year. On a slightly related note, I'm still divided on losing West Virginia as a conference foe. On the one hand, I really hate those assholes (sorry, Heavy C). On the other hand, they're such a good fit as a rival - much more so, in my opinion, than UVa. This coming season is the last time we're scheduled to play them in football, so I'll just have to settle for hoping we keep the Black Diamond Trophy.
