Had a good time: watched the AL win, ate sushi at the Tiger Club, saw Kid Rock. Seriously, he was about 30 rows below us in our section. BTW - for a good laugh, get CJ and Ann Marie (from Life in Mid-Michigan) to tell you their Kid Rock stories. They're pretty funny. For the music fans I haven't had time to check these out yet, but here is an archive of videos of Live8 performances around the globe. It's sorted by city - instead of band - but there is a live performance of A-ha playing Take on Me, so what more could you ask for? A little good-natured fun. What would be the title of a porn movie based on the Bush administration? Well, that's the question asked by Ask MetaFilter. Many aren't very funny, but there are some good ones.
