It's an interesting article, and I think the issue is a winner for Dems. And before you say anything, no, we're not all anti-gun zealots determined to steal your guns. I don't need your guns, I've got my own. Stop being stupid. (Although, now that I think of it, I do want a nice over/under 12 gauge...) Anyway, that's why we here at the Cabal are big fans of the "Western Democrats" like Montana Governor Brian Schweitze. Anyway, Heavy and I have been discussing this offline, but I wanted to publicly link to this column from Democratic Underground. Ok, before you freak out over the DU link, let me tell you that this is their regular, ironically-named "Ask Auntie Pinko" column, where Auntie Pinko answers questions from readers. This one is about guns and politics, and is interesting. Specifically, it's about why each side has so much trouble understand the other. I encourage you righties to hold your nose and dive in. Trust me, it'll be ok. You won't be infected with liberal cooties, and you can go running back to the Freepers when you're done.
