Memorial Day
It's morning here along the North Coast, and before I take off to observe the day, I thought I'd pass along a few things. You'll find a few links to things that might have slipped down the rabbit hole of time. Enjoy.

More than meets the eye
Complete with links to pictures, here are listings of collections of Transformers and Go Bots.
-
Propoganda
Here's some Soviet propoganda posters. While the artwork is pretty cool if you like that style (and I do), they sure look pretty silly in hindsight. You youngsters might not believe it, but there was a time that we lived in mortal terror of these people.

80s Movies
Or how about a listing of sexy scenes from 80s movies. I don't know about the rest of you, but Phoebe Cates will always be number one in my book.
-
Donner Party
If 80s movies simply don't have enough cannibalism for your tastes, here's a collection of diary entries relating to the Donner Party.

Computer fun
And finally, we return to the world of computers. First, here's a side-by-side comparison of Google and Yahoo! through the years. Next, PC World presents the 25 worst tech products.
Finally, I'm sure some of you remember the good old days of command lines. That was a good time, when a user had control of their system and could fix many problems without a format and complete OS re-install. Sure, it wasn't colorful and you didn't have any animated paperclips offering advice, but you were free. In remembrance, here's a list of command line commands that are still functional in XP.
