PROJECT 98' BLASTER
This page is about a 98' Yamaha Blaster i am fixing up.
Here are some pics of it.
This pic is of when i first got it. IT was horrible, and it was in pieces.
yup, it basically came in a box.
Repainted everything, its slowly comming along. Also rebuilding motor
Heres some pics of the motor as i tear it down..and inspect things.
Check out the dirt inside the case near where the crank goes ........ This is what happens when it sits on someones garage floor with no cylinder on it, and not covered up.
eh' isnt this nice.......check out the old crank bearing. Notice the chunk of metal sticking out....

after installing new HOTrod Crank/bearings and inspecting the transmission.
IT is now ready to put back together.
Check out the porting on this cylinder...
Boost
ports were added.
Motor is back together now.
Here is what it has :
-HDP #3 porting with base spacer
-HotRodz crank
-New gaskets/seals
-New crank bearings/seals
-Boyesen Reeds
-Wiseco Prolite Piston/Rings
First time starting it, Runs great. (also first time i ever heard it run,
it didnt run when i got it)
