Wayne MacNeil is an experienced managing director; business development director (where business development meant starting a new business, business area or turning around an underperforming business); management consultant in change management, organization design & strategic planning; leader of an executive level business consulting group; IS manager & IS management consultant with significant global and expatriate experience. A 'roll up the sleeves" type leader with a proven track record in improving business performance, Mr. MacNeil has a blend of management & consulting experience which began more than 15 years ago & includes employment with Arthur Andersen, Bose Corporation & Deutsche Bank. He has significant experience working in Europe & Asia as well as the U.S. and has led and/or facilitated numerous strategic planning efforts, complex change management & restructuring initiatives, new business and division start ups, turn around management situations, Total Quality & Leadership Development programs, and many other projects & programs. He has consistently delivered results that tangibly improved company performance & profitability. A student of leadership, group psychology, strategic planning and corporate systems design, Mr. MacNeil is a motivational leader with a special talent for working with management & groups at all levels as a change agent, facilitator & catalyst for achieving desired results. Considered as a master process facilitator, Mr. MacNeil is highly skilled in using process methodologies and managing in large change environments. Mr. MacNeil has an MBA, is a certified teacher in business and has numerous other education and business certifications including Change Management, TQM (Total Quality Management), Process Facilitation and SAP ERP. Mr. MacNeil has worked at the strategic, coordinating and operating levels in companies to facilitate direction setting, to mobilize commitment to goals and to implement business strategies, organization designs, enabling IS infrastructures and other large corporate change. Mr. MacNeil has also worked as a general manager in small entrepreneurial start up environments as well as managing director for the start up of new business areas within large corporations. He has had expatriate and temporary assignments in both Europe and Asia and works well with European and Asian cultures. Mr. MacNeil lived in Germany for 4 years with director level responsibilities covering 16 countries in western Europe. He has also worked on lengthy assignments in both Japan and Singapore. As an independent management consultant Mr. MacNeil has worked on his own engagements as well with other well known consulting firms including Results Based Leadership (RBL), 1.0 Novations (now Bayhill Group) and Technology Evaluation.com. Mr. MacNeil is part of the PROSCI Change Management Community of Practice and is affiliated with the Dooley Leadership Development Institute. |
