Paint By Numbers!

This program was created because I like doing GAMES magazine's "Paint by Numbers" puzzles.

My biggest problem with these puzzles is that it is very difficult to erase mistakes in the magazine without damaging the paper. I wanted an easier way of doing things, so I learned a new programming language, spent endless hours writing and refining, debugging, coding puzzles etc... and wound up with a nice little program that makes correcting mistakes almost as easy as making them in the first place.

The puzzles are the property of their respective authors, though I take credit (or the blame, you decide,) for the programming.

(I always recommend using an anti-virus software scanner, even on software from trusted sites)
The latest release of this program can encode and use multi-color puzzles. The editor saves them properly, and they load with color blocks around the index numbers to indicate colored groups.
I have not had time yet to code any color puzzles, so you're on your own there.
Non-color puzzles load and save just like normal.
I am still testing this new version. I have ironed out most of the problems, but haven't tried everything yet.

Setup is easy; just download the file and either run it from its current location or save it somewhere on your disk, double-click, and follow the install instructions.
Basically, that means clicking "Next" whenever prompted.

Use the "Help" feature to get you started.

Here is the .tkn file, for updating the program (In case you don't want to download the whole setup file.)
To update, right-click the link and save the file to the PBN directory to replace the old one.
And here is the source code, if you're into that sort of thing.
This program was written in JustBasic for Windows, Ver1.01
The help file was compiled with Shalom Help File maker
And the installation file was compiled with Inno Setup 5
