WAR AGAINST TERRORISTS!
By Stephen Hoshal

Return To Main MenuI hope we have had enough of what Bill Clinton would do. He had a chance at least five times to do something about this terrorist threat. The last one was the bombing of the navel ship Cole. In fact the FBI was kicked out of Yemen and good old Bill put his tail between his knees and limped home. Furthermore, he let the UN inspectors get kicked our of Iraq, never to return.
One last fact must be revealed; the argument that Bill Clinton did nothing about the terrorist acts during the eight years of his administration because he was a poll driven president who did what the people wanted. You know take a poll or two and figure out what to do. Have a focus group to help make him popular. Well my friends, this is not leadership it is followership. A good leader has the guts to stand on principles with moral character of belief of what he is doing is right and correct. A good leader brings on board the people to follow him by being a good example of those beliefs and principles. In other words, a good leader LEADS and does not FOLLOW!! George W. Bush is a leader and Bill Clinton will never be a George W. Bush or a George H. Bush!
Now, we have New Age Liberals saying how lucky G. W. Bush is for being the president so he can have a great legacy. What a bunch of Crap!!! No, the American People are the lucky ones to have Bush as President instead of Al Gore who is unable to find his manhood. You know; grow a beard, look good, and tough.
It is now time for the American People to wise up and smell the truth for once. It was too bad to find it on 911. Now 16,000 Americans are wounded or dead and we still have ten percent of the population being wimps. You know the peace_nicks and their New Age Liberal professors. Good Grief, the WTC dead are still warm and these guys go out and demonstrate in the streets about killing innocent people in Afghanistan and we have not even drop one bomb on them. How many do we have to kill in this country in order to believe we are in a WAR for survival. I thought, I had seen it all in the recount in Florida and Al Gore being a complete ass in trying to win at any cost. Now, we have to win at any cost; this war, in order to stop this Pervert Terrorist Crap once and for all! How many must be dead in the streets in order to believe our way of life is on the line. The first duty of the Government of the American People is to defend their beliefs and ideals, Period! Is is time to stand by our president, who is doing one great job of defending this nation!!
I am very sure you are going to hear more from me about this War Against Terrorists!

I was downtown Washington DC at a conference at the Ronald Reagan building. For those who are not familiar with it, the Ronald Reagan building is second largest Federal office building in Washington DC, and is about 3 blocks from the White House. Mr. Richard Clark, who is a senior official within the National Security Council had just finished his keynote address, ironically speaking on the protection of the Critical Infrastructure. We had just moved into the first set of briefings, when they made the announcement of the attack on the World Trade Center. At this point, they did not know any details, so they went on with the program. Then about 10 minutes later, they evacuated the building without any further explanation. I walked out of the building and went across the street to a hotel, and immediately went into the bar. I did this of course knowing that they would have a TV there, and if you're going to be stuck somewhere, a bar is a nice place to be. Everyone stood around in utter disbelief as we watched the news. My pager soon went off, but by the time I got to the telephones, there was a line. The first page I got was from an associate's cell phone, which when I attempted to call back, all cell phone lines were busy. The second page I got was from our operations center, which I was able to get through to without any problems. Both of these calls were just to verify that I was alright.
While the Defense Intelligence Agency has offices in the Pentagon, I am currently on a rotational assignment to the Intelink Management Office (IMO), which operates out of the National Security Agency at Fort Meade. So I was not in "harms way." However, by this point the streets of Washington were total grid lock. I knew that even if they would let me get my car out of the parking garage, I wouldn't be able to go anywhere because of the traffic jams. So I walked about 2 miles to a friends house, hoping to hang out there until things calmed down. When I got there, my friend Anjali was not at home, but her roommate let me in. We just sat around watching the television coverage of what had happened.
I called home to my answering machine to see if I had gotten a message from my brother Stephen who worked in the WTC. While there was no message from my brother, there were messages from friends and family asking if we were both alright.
Around three o'clock, I decided that things had calmed down enough that I could go back and try to get me car out of captivity from the garage of the Reagan Building. As I walked back downtown, the streets were strangely quite. There was almost no one on the streets. The Mayor of DC had declared a state of emergency, and called out the National Guard. There were police everywhere. Many of the downtown streets were closed off, with gangs of police and federal officers on every street corner. I asked one police officer if I would be able to get my car, and he said that I wouldn't. But I proceeded to the Reagan building anyway, just to try. When I got there, I showed the guards my identification badge, and they let me get my car.
Driving home was strange because there was very little traffic until I got out of the city. Once out of the city, it was just like a normal day, but the traffic was very light because they had dismissed the federal work force so early.
When I got home, I made a number of telephone calls reassuring friends and relatives that I was alright, but that I had not heard from my brother yet. I let them all know that once I heard anything definite, I would let them know.
Like most people, I watched the horror of this tragedy unfold on television. The next day, while many of the federal offices reopened, the National Security Agency was closed for non-essential employees. So I just stayed home and continued to watch the television coverage. By this time, I was assuming the worse possible news concerning my brother Stephen. By lunch time, I decided that I needed to get out, so I walked to the local McDonald's about a mile from my house. On the way back, I stopped in at the local branch of our public library to check things out on the web. I copied down the number for the American Red Cross, and when I got home, I called and registered with them concerning my brother. They said that it could take up to 48 hours or more before they would be able to notify victims' families. About an hour after I got off of the telephone with them, I finally got a call from my brother Stephen.
He had not gotten to work yet. . . He was literally walking across the street about to enter the WTC when the first plane struck the building. The plane hit almost exactly where his office was. Had he been at work, he would have been incinerated almost immediately. He was lucky in that he did not usually start work until 9 or 9:30. Many of his coworkers who did start earlier, were in fact killed. He said that he was surprised to learn that many of his associates that worked in tower number 2 evacuated when the plane struck tower number 1, and so he was speculating that many people were able to get out before the buildings collapsed.
When the plane struck, he saw it and turned around and went back to his apartment. He lives about a block from the WTC. He hunkered down and watched the coverage on the news like everyone else. Eventually, they cut the power and water to his building, but he didn't want to leave. After awhile, he heard loud banging out in the hallway, and he stuck his head out to see what it was. Firemen were there breaking down doors of the apartments facing the WTC. All of the windows on that side of the building were blown out from the concussion. The firemen said that he would have to leave, so he grabbed some stuff and headed out. He walked about five miles to get to a friend's apartment, where he has been staying ever since.
My brother says that he had been trying to call me, but the telephone lines were tied up. So he was not able to reach me until about 2:30 Wednesday afternoon.
So while my brother and myself are both OK after this event, there are many that were not so lucky. I am sure we all hold these people and their families in our thoughts and our prayers.

Once again, we as a nation, face a huge problem. It is a huge problem of neglect of our right to be free and exist as a Constitutional Republic with Individual Rights. If this is not worth defending at any and all cost, then we deserve to be scraped in the trash heap of Human History. Neglect you might say. What neglect? Because of New Age Liberalism, we have made excuses for corrupt leaders and those who do civil and criminal wrong doing. This has crept into every part of every day life in the "good old US of A." We have been too busy defending these creeps and not paying enough attention to what we must do in order to secure our freedom and rights as a sovereign nation.
Make no mistake about it; this is an Act of War committed on our land, and not an act of criminals. A crime is committed on a person, place, or thing. Not on a whole nation!!
I am totally sick of hearing the peace_nicks and commie heads of various institutions complaining about how bad we are for bombing or attacking our enemies no matter what country they exist in. I am sick and tried of hearing that we are the cause of insatiability of the Middle East part of this globe. I am sick of hearing how we are going to have a terrible time taking over the pervert terrorist, and the countries that they exist in. How we will lose thousands of troops and etc. and etc. and etc. Those who do not learn form history will surely repeat it. Before World War Two, it was "Peace In Our Time." Well; today the slogan is, "lets not be violent because all it does is it begets more violence", and etc. and etc. and etc. B. S.!! When was the last time any peace missions in Human History every got lasting peace??? Name me one!! If you want to secure peace, prepare for WAR! The Romans knew the truth of that statement as well as Fredrick the Great of Prussian.
There are only TWO questions to ask.
Question one, can we negotiate our way to a successful conclusion of the issues or reach an agreed upon compromise that will last with all parties being honest and truthful with a method of enforcement?
Question two; if question one's answer is NO; then, is the right to be free and exist as a Constitutional Republic with Individual Rights worth defending at any and all cost?
If you answer NO to question TWO, then get the hell out of the US of A and move to a slave country of your choice. I would suggest Afghanistan.
If you answer YES to question two, then there are no other questions to ask. You fight to win. The above mentioned issues are all irrelevant. We have a prime example of the truth of this in the war with Japan. We nuked them to save many American lives and then we help them rebuild their nation into a free country and a great economy. That is how you win wars and make peace.
War, by exercising thereof, is an insane uncivilized action that really has no rules at all, except to win at any and all cost. Our new pervert terrorist enemy knows the truth of this and is prepared to win at any and all cost, and there is no reasoning with them. The 16,000 Americans dead or injured speak to this. Just remember, no one is any better than anyone else in war, the statement that we are better than them is a lie. Just ask the people of Japan. In war, no one is better, period. I rest my case.

The case, United States v. Emerson, arose out of a Texas divorce suit in which a restraining order
had been issued against the husband, Dr. Timothy Joe Emerson, who was subsequently charged
with violating a federal law that prohibits the possession of firearms while under such a court
order. The trial court dismissed the charges against Emerson saying the statute's ban on
possession of a firearm while a restraining order was in place, violated, among other rights, the
doctor's Second Amendment rights. The Janet Reno Justice Department appealed. While the
appeals court ultimately upheld the validity of the federal law - finding that it did not infringe upon
Dr. Emerson's rights - the decision is the strongest ruling to date interpreting the Second
Amendment.
The Court said the words 'the right of the people' in the Second Amendment had the same
meaning as when used in the First and Fourth Amendments and, like those Amendments in the
Bill of Rights, secures an individual or personal right not a collective or states' right. The Court
rejected "the collective rights and sophisticated collective rights models for interpreting the Second
Amendment. We hold, …that [the Second Amendment] protects the rights of individuals, including
those not then actually a member of any militia or engaged in active military service or training, to
privately possess and bear their own firearms, such as the pistol involved here, that are suitable
as personal, individual weapons . . ." The Court went on to say "that does not mean that those
rights may never be made subject to any limited, narrowly tailored specific exceptions or
restrictions for particular cases that are reasonable and not inconsistent with right of Americans
generally to individually keep and bear their private arms as historically understood in this country."
“The Court’s decision is a very thorough and scholarly analyzes of the actual text, history and
jurisprudence of the Second Amendment. It reaffirms that the Second Amendment is a cherished
civil liberty of equal importance to our nation as the First and Fourth Amendments,” said Robert T.
Delfay, president and chief executive officer of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Inc.
“Every American, not just firearms owners, should applaud this reaffirmation of the principles and
beliefs of our founding fathers.” A copy of the United States v. Emerson can be view at

The Brady Center For The Prevention of Gun Violence had filed a “friend of the court” brief
supporting the Janet Reno Justice Department’s misguided interpretation of the Second
Amendment, the latest in a continuing string of defeats for the Brady Center in their campaign to
destroy the firearms industry and the Second Amendment.

In a landmark ruling, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans held yesterday that the
Second Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees the right of individuals to keep
and bear arms. The court rejected the arguments of the Clinton administration's Justice
Department that the Second Amendment does not apply to individuals but merely recognizes the
right of the state to arm its militia.
