MEET BONGO !

Bongo needs your help. He has PACHIS (pronounced "patches") or Pacific Area Collie Hair Internalization Syndrome. A rare and often incurable condition exclusive to collies living in California and Hawaii. When it occurs, PACHIS causes the hair on an otherwise beautiful collie to grow inwards resulting in a pretty goofy looking dog. The condition can also be extremely uncomfortable, as the entire dog eventually fills up with hair

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?

Well, actually not much. First, if you have a collie shedding hair all over the house, you might pack up some of the hair and send it to BONGO C/O WB8CAC (we're trying to make him a wig). Otherwise, all you can do is try to prevent the spread of PACHIS. If you see a collie with any of the early warning signs, PLEASE let us know what the early warning signs are ( it would be nice to know). It probably won't stop the infection, but at least the dogs' owners will have time to buy them a shirt or something so they won't look so silly in public.
