WELLS CLASS OF 1960 PLANNING 50TH REUNION WEEKEND
The Mary E. Wells High School Class of 1960 is finalizing plans for its 50-year Reunion Weekend. The Reunion will be June 11-13, 2010 at both the Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center and Cohasse on the Green.
Currently, Reunion Committee members are: Jack Harrald and Judy Page Harrald of Claiborne MD; Al Labelle of Marshfield WI; Judy Hmielowski Zaido, Linda Dubreuil Regis, and Imelda Curboy Lundstrom all of Southbridge.

Tentative schedule is:
A block of rooms have been set aside for the Reunion Weekend by Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center with a cut-off date of April 1, 2010.
Village Photos of Southbridge will take the group picture on the steps of Wells High School and pictures of the various events.
Shortly, an awareness e-mail or letter will be mailed to Class members, giving even more specific information.
The Reunion Committee has established a web page at the site http://webpages.charter.net/wellshighschool/1960_Reunion.htm. The web page will contain updated information periodically.
Reunion information will be also available at www.dickwhitney.net under the Southbridge History Page (and More) site.
A Reunion Program Committee is being formed. Anyone interested in participating contact Al Labelle at al.labelle.dav@hotmail.com; Judy Hmielowski Zaido at jzaido@yahoo.com; or Linda Dubreuil Regis at lindastan@juno.com.
At the moment, the Reunion Committee is attempting to locate the following classmates: John Barnard, Jane Davis Lenz, Ronald Demerjian, Ronald Lafortune, Henry Martin, and Madeline Proulx Cournoyer.

Class of 1960 50th Reunion
Dear Wells Class of 60 Classmate,
June 1960--Alaska and Hawaii were new states, a first class stamp cost 4 cents, Fidel Castro was a new kid on the block. Yes, it will soon be 50 years since we marched across the grass at Dresser Street Field to receive our diplomas from Mary E. Wells High School. That means it is time to celebrate our lives and friendships, to share memories of the good (and some not so good) times as teenagers in Southbridge, to listen to some great music, and to remember classmates who are no longer with us. In short…..it is time to get ready for our 50th reunion! We have set the time (June 11-13, 2010) and the place (Southbridge Hotel and Conference Center and Cohasse on the Green) for this historic reunion, now we need to get the people. We hope that you will join the celebration.
We are still working out the details, but have started the process with a reunion committee of Al Labelle, Judy Page Harrald, Jack Harrald, Imelda Curboy Lundstrom, Linda Dubreuil Regis, and Judy Hmielowski Zaido. We will need and welcome volunteers willing to help us plan and prepare.
As a first step we are tracking down classmates and establishing an email list and a mailing list. Attached is a listing of those in our class that did not receive this letter. If you have contact information for anyone on the list, please forward this to them and send me their email and/or mailing address.
Also, please email me your mailing address and let us know if you are interested in attending. If you are willing to volunteer to help, contact Al Labelle
