CHARLTON CITY — Jeanne T. (Jarry) Burlingame, 71, of 12 Griffin Road, passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, in St.Vincent Hospital, Worcester.

Jeanne leaves her husband of 49 years, Richard W. Burlingame. She also leaves behind one son, Steven J.Burlingame and his wife Dorothy of Charlton; two daughters, Kathleen M. wife of John Giangregorio of Dennis, and Anne M. wife of Raymond Irish of Charlton; one sister, Marie Poulin of Sturbridge, eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Jeanne was born in Worcester, daughter of Laurent and Irene (Delisle) Jarry and lived in Charlton for many years.

She was a registered nurse and worked at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge for 42 years, retiring in 2000.

She was a devote member of St. Joseph's Church and the Mary Martha Guild of the church.

Jeanne loved her family and enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading, cooking and walking along the beach, especially on Cape Cod.

Family and friends are cordially invited to calling hours from 7-9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at the Robert J. Miller-Charlton Funeral Home, 175 Old Worcester Road.

The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, in St. Joseph's Church, 10 H-Putnam Rd. Burial will follow in West Ridge Cemetery.
