Our Friend Molly Marie

Hi, my name is Molly (except when I am bad; then I am "Miss Molly Marie!!!!:" I live with my Mom, Beth Widdows, in Michigan. This was my "baby before my first haircut"" picture when I was 14 weeks old. I was born on November 4, 1997 but now I am 15 months old and 14 pounds (2/99) !!
I love to: go for walks and then more walks; play tug, eat aspargus and brussel sprouts, sardines, (or pretty much anything stinky!), share my mom's popcorn, pounce like a cat, climb anything that is climbable and some things that are not, roll in the snow and BARK.
I hate: Baths, technology....anything with a motor in it or spray cans, being ignored, did I say "baths"? I like to sleep: in my own big bed (until I wake up and realize it is dark and quiet...then I run into Mom's bed and cuddle), under my bed, under the spare bed, under Mom's bed....see a pattern here?
Favorite Treats: Freeze dried beef liver, Pounce Cat Treats, Fat Free Cottage Cheese
Favorite Toys: A grooming glove, my mom's winter gloves, an old dish towel, a cat skitter mouse toy, a giraffe
Biggest Adventures: I got out of my pen when I was a baby. A neighbor rescued me. Mom put me back in the pen and then called me and I showed her how I got out; Now that I am a big girl, I fell out of the deck when the snow was so deep it helped me climb up high. I ran around the house and banged on the front door until Mom heard me and let me in; Just the other day, I figured out how to climb up on the deck railing but I was too afraid to get down again; Mom had to come and let me down.
My Accomplishments: I am a very obedient doggie....at least in class. And I am taking agility classes and I beat all of the bigger dogs around the course (just the first time....after that it was late and I got too sleepy so I just walked the course and they beat me.) I visit nursing homes and make all the people very happy to see me.
Nicknames: Pest, Mutt, White Rat, Punky, Monkey, Silly Little Girl, Noisy Little Girl and, of course, Pretty Little Girl!!

I love to go for a ride in the car with my Mom. We drive for quite a while until we come to a nice white house. When we get out of the car, I like to sniff the grass. Then I look in the window of the house and see my friends, Brady and Cody looking out the window and barking and wagging their tails. I run up to the porch and right through the door. We love to run around and say "hello" and catch up on all the news. Pretty soon, Brady, Cody and I are chasing each other all around the house. I like to play with their toys too. They always have some new cool thing that makes a funny noise. sun.gif (1356 bytes)

Then we all go for a nice walk in the park down to the lake. I love to go in the water, especially when it is real cold out! Then we have lunch and play in the yard if it is a nice day. I get kinda sad when I know it is time to go home, but I know that we will come back and play again another day. I am always very sleepy after our visit and I sleep all the way home in the car....zzzzzzzzzzzz!
