Earthbound Angel

Occasionally, we are graced with the presence of an earth bound Angel.
They are unable to stay with us for long, but while they do,
they bring unprecedented joy and happiness to all they touch.
While they are here, we bask in their goodness and marvel at their contribution
to the world. When they leave, we are left with the devastation
that comes with losing such a  wonderful being...but we must
remember...the earth bound Angels are not ours to keep.
They are ours to enjoy, learn from, and behold until they return home.

To Flossie

She did not whimper
She did not cry
She did not tell me she was going to die
Her little heart was always there to give her steadfast affection
She will be missed in the hearts of many
For she gave the world her very best
Her earthly life is no more, for she has blessed us for eleven years
Flossie, you were the very best and we loved you very much
We miss you, good bye our dear friend

D. J. only lived a short time, but he stole the hearts of his parents. 
"We will miss the barking at squirrels, begging for our food, sleeping at our feet on our bed,
